Sadly Kilver Court has been sold and therefore our planned visit there in October has been cancelled.
The good news is that we have been successful in booking a group visit to Killerton House instead. This has been booked for the same time and day, Tuesday, October 5th, 2021.
Killerton is an 18th century house, garden and park. The celebrated nurseryman John Veitch laid out the grounds following the principles of Capability Brown and Humphrey Repton with whom he collaborated on other estates. John’s son, James Veitch commissioned plant hunters to bring back new species of trees and shrubs many of which were planted at Killerton making it one of the first arboreta to boast trees from every continent except Antarctica.

The mansion houses “an exceptional costume collection”.

The Orchard Tea room and Garden restaurant provide catering.
The price for National Trust members is £15.00
The price for non National Trust members is £25.00
We will continue to use the largest coach to allow good spacing.
Please remember to bring your mask.
We hope you will be able to join us on this last trip of the year.
