Bridport Mayor Presents Cups and Trophies at Gardening Harvest Show

Bridport came up trumps at this year’s Gardening Harvest Show, with an impressive display of flowers, vegetables, plants and fruit, despite the challenges of such a hot summer.
The cookery tables were also full, showcasing an array of delicious cakes, biscuits, preserves and other homemade treats.
Meanwhile, nimble fingers had been busy creating beautiful autumn wreaths, fingerless gloves and a variety of decorations, all proudly displayed on the Arts and Crafts table.
Many visitors from near and far came along to enjoy the displays and indulge in tea and cakes while waiting for the finale of the day.
The Mayor of Bridport, Councillor Jonathan Bourbon, was on hand to present the cups and trophies, bringing the successful and enjoyable show to a fitting conclusion.
